Palazzo Romano (Case di Manzano)
Next to the church of Case di Manzano, at the foot of the well-known Abbey of Rosazzo, stands Palazzo Romano on the remains of an older manor house. The building, characterised by a peculiar arched entrance door surmounted by the noble coat of arms and the presence of a stone turret, stands within a crenellated wall that also encloses a valuable park, rich in numerous ornamental plants and statues. Guests are guided through the ancient rooms in an exhibition of the historical, cultural and economic intertwining that has seen the Romano family play a leading role in local history over the last century.
