This internationally famous restaurant is situated in a truly magical spot: the road that leads to the castle offers a splendid panorama and passes through an enchanted area where the castle orangeries were once located. The restaurant’s seasonal menu offers a reinterpretation of the fragrances and flavours of the traditional cooking style. The wide selection of fine quality wines offered is one of the richest in the region. There is also a winery where an even larger selection of fine wines can be savoured. To enjoy more than one proposal from the menu we suggest ordering the tasting menu (menu degustazione) which is a series of samples of the restaurant’s best: code di gamberi con riso integrale e crema di zucca (Shrimp tails with brown rice and creamed pumpkin), petto di piccione arrostito profumato al tartufo nero (Roasted pigeon breast flavoured with black truffles), ravioli di carciofo con calamaretti e crema di crostacei (Ravioli with artichoke filling served with a squid and shellfish sauce), lasagnetta gratinata ai funghi di Carnia (Lasagne with Carnia mushrooms au gratin), carrè d’agnello al forno in crosta di rosmarino con tortino di patate (Baked lamb in a rosemary-flavoured pastry puff), and sfoglia calda di mele con semifreddo alla cannella (warm Apple pastry with a cinnamon-flavoured mousse).

During the summer you can stroll through the beautiful park which affords a picturesque view of the valley and surrounding hills.
