 The new series "Per i piccoli" ("For Children") includes agile volumes aimed at the very young (in particular primary and secondary school pupils) and published to provide an effective aid to the numerous educational visits to regional castles. Various castle-related topics will be examined, obviously treated in simple yet scientifically correct language and accompanied by captivating illustrations by illustrators specialised in children.

This first small volume deals with the salient features of daily life that took place inside Friulian castles in the early Middle Ages (14th-15th centuries). The protagonist, Pileo di Castelguardia, a boy from the Friulian Middle Ages, tells the young people of the 21st century how he spends his days in the castle where he lives, through small news items, curiosities and drawings.
