Locanda Castello di Buttrio

The Locanda al Castello di Buttrio is a small restaurant in the hills just 15 km from Udine with a single room seating 30, cool in the summer heat and cheered by the crackling fire in the cold months. In summer, there is a surprise: 40 extra covers on the panoramic terrace in the shade of the greenery.

The cuisine is inspired by the Friulian tradition of the hills, revisited and made contemporary.

The restaurant is part of the Buttrio Castle complex so it also allows easy tastings of the wines from the same cellar, walks in the park, themed evenings and stays in the adjacent historic residence, a comfortable wine resort, as peaceful as the family country house.
