The Castle of Flambruzzo can be reached by coach services provided in nearby towns. Close to the castle there is a fascinating enoteca called Dal Diàul where you can enjoy exquisite local wines and wines from outside the region. For well-prepared, beautifully-presented regional cooking there are many restaurants to choose from, just to name a few: Al Ferarut, Da Pippo, Al Mulino. Of all the rooms in the castle the largest is the reception hall referred to as the Sala Rota (15x7x3.5m). It is placed on the ground floor; access to the hall is through two large external gates, one of which faces the splendid park surrounding the palace and serves as an emergency exit. The hall itself has four doorways which connect to adjacent rooms: several smaller halls and the Badoglio hall (7x6.5x3.50m). Not all of the rooms are heated. The name of the reception hall, Sala Rota, was inspired by the magnificent portraits of the family’s ancestors which decorate the walls and give the room an atmosphere of antique regality. The hall has beautiful terrazzo flooring and precious antique furniture from the family heritage, among which an attractive large table. The reception hall is available for conferences or meetings; the large table is placed at the disposal of speakers. It can hold circa 100 person and is equipped with an adjustable lighting system.
